Great Stroller This stroller is great, easy to handle and to carry, the only problem is that doesn't have enough space in the bag and no place to put a cup or bottle. January 5, 2013
This stroller is better than expected! My girlfriend (with two kids) highly recommended this stroller to us. Frankly, I was overwhelmed with the selection on the market and glad for the recommendation. This stroller has exceeded our expectations! It's lightweight but extremely sturdy. It's easy to fold and maneuvers easily with one hand. At first, I thought I would miss having a tray in front of my baby but I am so happy I don't have it. It's easy to move him in and out and lay him back when he falls asleep without the bar in the way. My only criticism would be that the basket is small and impossible to get anything in or out of when the baby is reclined. The harness system is also fantastic and feels very secure. The only stroller you will ever need! My wife and I did some considerable research when we decided on what stroller to purchase for our daughter. We have no regrets with the Maclaren Techno XT - I rarely write reviews, but sometimes a product can make such a difference in one’s life that I feel it is my duty! First off, the Techno XT is LIGHT and easy to carry, and has gotten us through many situations with ease (boarding a cruise ship, gate checking at the airport). The other huge seller for us was that you can fully recline!! This is sometimes hard to find in the umbrella stroller category and is great for naps. So far the wheels on the Techno XT are big enough to handle bumpy terrain with ease, and the overall size of the stroller makes it pretty convenient when you find yourself in more narrow retail shopping isles. The fabric looks pretty durable and has held up very well. The rain cover is superior in its coverage, and our little girl has stayed dry the 1 or 2 times we have had to use it. I just don't think you could go wrong with purchasing this stroller, some of our friends have ditched their more heavy cumbersome strollers for a Maclaren after witnessing ours in action, and I think that speaks volumes. We are are so happy with this stroller, we already looking into the Twin Tehcno :) December 3, 2012
Not perfect, better than many others. I appreciate the extendable handlebars as we are tall. We have upgraded with the quilted seat pad and two cup holders, both of which are useful and well-designed. I like the locking foot rest and use it regularly. I wish our 2011 model had one-handed seat recline as the 2012 does, as it is cumbersome to use both arms. The under-seat basket is quite small and inaccessible when the seat is fully reclined. The latching mechanism for storage seems like it will break before long. The straps are very difficult to adjust. Overall, I am only moderately pleased with this purchase. I have seen many that appear to be of lesser quality, and a few that seem to have better features. November 29, 2012
