You are probably wondering why the weights shown here are different. These weight limits are based on regional testing and not decided by Maclaren. Maclaren strollers are designed and tested to safely transport children up to 55lbs in the USA, 20kg in Australia, and 15kg in the EU/UK. The Techno XLR is designed and tested to hold up to a 65lb (US) child.

The stroller offers a head hugger, reversible seat liner, fully reclining seat, and adjustable leg rest for superior comfort, making it perfect for longer trips with your child. At 7.9 kg / 17.4 lb, the easy-fold stroller is compact and easy to store.

The Techno XLR stroller is currently not car-seat compatible. However, it does complement any car-seat stroller brilliantly as a lighter weight on-the-go option for families.

Not for traveling on bus or train but great otherwise I have been using this stroller with my newborn since she was 4 weeks old. I think that it's great being that I won't have to purchase a new stroller when she becomes a toddler. I live in New York city and I haven't found it easy to carry when commuting on train or bus. This is an excellent light weight stroller A good light weight stroller to have from birth until your child is a toddler but the only thing i wasn't satisfied was the handles the rubber material peels off after a couple of months. I couldn't find a replacement part for it. November 29, 2012
Great stroller for all purposes I have used this stroller since my daughter was 7 weeks old and it has served us well. It is lightweight and easy to navigate. Its different seating positions means that at different ages and times of day etc it is really handy - it lies almost flat, so she can easily sleep in it, and sits totally upright, which as she has gotten older, is great as she likes to be able to sit up and point at things as we walk etc. The straps are secure and comfortable. It is really easy and quick to fold and throw into the car! The only thing I would change is that the window on the hood should be larger. When the hood is fully open I have to bend forward to see her. Otherwise no complaints! November 29, 2012
